My Master\u2019s Year 1 thesis was much more than a university assignment. It was a several-month project that allowed me to transform my daily work at Schneider Electric into a real research topic, combining academic analysis, field experience, interviews and strategic reflection.<\/p>\n

The subject was directly connected to my apprenticeship: the international launch of Modicon Edge I\/O NTS, a strategic Hero Offer within Schneider Electric\u2019s Digital Factory portfolio. Through this work, I explored what happens behind a global product launch in a large industrial company: how global teams coordinate with local markets, how different Lines of Business such as Automation and Motion align around the same offer, how marketing and product assets are prepared, and how internal processes can either support or slow down the launch.<\/p>\n

What made this thesis especially valuable was the fieldwork behind it. I conducted interviews with many Schneider Electric stakeholders from different countries, functions and levels of responsibility, including senior profiles and Vice Presidents. These discussions gave me a much clearer understanding of the real challenges behind an international launch: timing issues, local market differences, product readiness, communication flows, asset availability, governance, and the need to keep everyone aligned around the same message.<\/p>\n

My role as Global Launch Leader Support gave me a direct view of these challenges. I was not only observing the project from the outside; I was part of the launch preparation, supporting country follow-up, working on launch materials, presentations, internal coordination, tracking tools and deployment actions. This made the thesis very concrete, because I could connect what I was studying with situations I was actually experiencing at work.<\/p>\n

The project ended with a 20-minute oral defense in front of a jury composed of Lise Arena, Head of the Master\u2019s program, Christophe Borlein and Jean-Simon Louis, my two Schneider Electric tutors, as well as the two previous apprentices who had held the same position before me. Receiving a final grade of 16\/20, with congratulations from the jury, was a strong recognition of the work invested and of the professional relevance of the topic.<\/p>\n

More than a simple academic document, this thesis helped me understand how complex international product launches really are. A successful launch is not only about having a strong product. It also depends on communication, timing, clear responsibilities, high-quality assets, internal alignment and the ability to adapt a global strategy to very different local realities.<\/p>\n

This work also opened the door to my next research project, which will focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence in marketing and product asset management. After studying the complexity of launching a global offer, I now want to explore how AI can help industrial companies create, organize, localize and control product and marketing content more efficiently throughout the product lifecycle.<\/p>\n
